The Location - Macauleys Beach House is situated approx 200m to both Diggers Beach and Macauleys Beach and boasts breath taking views over Park Beach, the Marina and Coffs Harbour, nestled right between the rainforest and the sea.
A 3 minute drive will take you to Park Beach Plaza where the chain supermarkets and shopping sprees can be had. Looking for some cool attractions on your holiday? The Big Banana Fun Park has a range of fun activities, including waterslides, ice skating, mini golf and laser tag. And don't forget to take your photo at Australia's most iconic abnormally large fruit, the Big Banana. Next door is Reptile World to view all the dangerous snakes and, if you're brave enough, pat pythons. Or further up is the Solitary Islands Aquarium highlighting local sea life. If it is an adrenaline rush you are after, try parasailing or white water rafting. It's the perfect location for for families, couples and friends to enjoy!
In the evening enjoy the moon shimmering over the Pacific Ocean while sipping a cocktail at the bar before dining in at 5-Star restaurants by the sea within a max drive of 7 min, such as Finz on The Beach, Bombay Brasserie, Attitude Raw Bar, Silvio's Italiano, Surf Club Restaurant & Bar, Latitude 30, Shearwater Restaurant, and many more.
The House - There's only one way to describe this house - spectacular! Macauleys Beach House is a huge, multi level, 5+ bedroom house is encircled by decks and tropical gardens. This unique home is large enough to accommodate 11 people, with 6 sleeping areas over 4 levels. Some of its most notable features include million dollar views, a king size bedroom with spa bath in the ensuite and deck with magical views of Coffs Harbour, and car security with lock up 2 car garage and extra parking. At entry level a tiled patio leads to the main front door while a timber deck leads to the separate front door of the one-bedroom apartment, curtain to close for privacy.
This comfortable house (which can also be accessed via an internal door from the main residence) includes a queen-sized bedroom, a kitchen and bathroom, open plan living area and lots of windows to showcase the view. A staircase in the main residence leads from the tiled entry to the living and entertaining level. The living area features vaulted ceilings, creative architectural details and a wall of glass and timber bi-fold doors opening to the terrace. This covered terrace is an extension of the living space and is ideal for entertaining and al fresco dining. If you want a break from whale watching and ocean breezes, walk back through the living area and out more glass doors to the sheltered rear deck. There is also a separate Zen courtyard off the living area, complete with tranquil pond and lush plantings for those who want some solitude.
The kitchen is located in the centre of the open-plan concept and is easily accessible to all the living and entertaining areas. The frameless glass windows in the kitchen give that floating on air feeling as the view stretches out to the ocean. A few steps up lead to a landing with a study nook. On this level there is also a queen-sized bedroom with private deck, an Asian-inspired bathroom. On the upper level of this residence is the spacious master bedroom with full-sized ensuite and bi-fold glass doors to a deck. There is also another queen-sized bedroom and a carpeted mezzanine level with a vaulted ceiling accessed via a small ladder type stairs which acts as a loft style double bedroom.
All linens and towels are provided.

House with potential but no maintained well
Great location with plenty of room in the house. Suits larger groups including people from different families as there are room / sleeping options on three separate levels. Views are very nice.
General maintenance of house and gardens is poor. Some examples include:
Driveway is inaccessible for most cars (will damage car due to gradient with road).
Driveway plants will scratch your car. These have not been maintained and my car was scratched along the drivers side doors.
Faulty dishwasher - cannot use lower section
BBQ not serviced or usable
Main lounge was "grotty". Felt very greasy and unclean.
Gardens overgrown which made the backyard inaccessible.

If you cancel your accommodation the following applies -
1. Bookings cancelled at least 90 days prior to “Guest” arrival date is refundable less a cancellation fee of $100.00.
2. Booking cancelled less than 90 days from “Guest” arrival date are non refundable but the following does apply –
i) if any guest has booked direct with Alloggio Holidays, and request a refund for a booking arrival date inside 90 days, we do not refund but can transfer booking dates or if guests are uncertain of dates we will provide them with an Alloggio Holiday gift voucher to the value of their “Rent” component of the booking.
ii) our fees will be retained however when the guest does utilise the gift voucher the value of rent will be towards whatever the cost of their new booking value is. There will be no booking fees charged on gift voucher bookings as we have already retained the fees.
iii) The voucher will be valid for booking stay dates within three years from date of issue and may be used on any of our Holiday Properties depending on availability.
3. If you shorten your stay, the unused portion of your rental is not refundable.
4. Any Bookings made via an OTA, for example, Stayz, , Airbnb or other booking provider will be subject to the OTA Terms and Conditions.If you cancel any booking made through Stayz, , Airbnb or other booking provider you may be required to pay further fees to those providers pursuant to their cancellation policy.
5. Any costs imposed by any other provider are in addition to any costs imposed by Alloggio Management.
