Coffs Harbour is known for hosting many events, with world class sports happening throughout the year. Whatever you are into, Coffs Harbour is bound to have something to interest you.
There is the World Rally if you are into watching rally racing, and Go Karting if you like going to or watching large go kart events.
If you are into water sports Coffs Harbour has many different fishing tournaments and surfing events held at the surrounding beaches. With so many surf breaks it is a very popular surfing destination.
Coffs Harbour also hosts lots of sporting events at the International Stadium, which bring many sporting people to Coffs Harbour. These events are fantastic for Coffs Harbour as it keeps Coffs Harbour buzzing through the winter months.

The Harbour Side Markets and held every Sunday from 8am to 2pm in the Jetty Foreshore in a beautiful clearing under the tree’s just to the north of the historic jetty.
With a great range of locally grown fresh produce, gourmet food and tasty beverages you can enjoy something delicious while you check out the unique range of arts and crafts.
There is live music and performers every week creating a great atmosphere to chill out and enjoy some fresh authentic food, soak up the sun and listen to the tunes. Bring a long a picnic rug or fold out chair and make the most of the free entertainment. There is also a host of workshops, festivals and events regularly hosted here as well.
Its a great way to start your Sunday and only a short 10 min drive from Smugglers On The Beach.
Coffs Coast World Rally Championship (WRC)

The beautiful Coffs Coast of New South Wales will play host once again to Rally Australia, the annual Australian leg of the FIA World Rally Championship. Only Australia’s second world championship event, alongside Formula 1, this epic competition features some of the world’s greatest drivers battling for supremacy in the toughest and most varied conditions on the planet. Multi-million dollar “factory” teams from Germany, France, Korea and Britain, plus the cream of privateer outfits from around the world and Australia tackle open-country and forestry stages across 300 kilometres in spectacular sub-tropical scenery
Coffs Harbour is an awesome place for the event with hundreds of kilometers of winding dirt roads and plenty of great vantage points for spectators. Smugglers On The Beach specializes in accommodation for both rally teams and spectators. We are only a short drive for the stages held on the north side of Coffs Harbour and a great place to base yourself to access all the rally stages and venues.
Pittwater To Coffs Regatta

Pittwater to Coffs Harbour
The annual Pittwater to Coffs Regatta brings some of the top boats to our harbour side city for the the main race and then a local series of events. The main race starts in Pittwater on the 2nd of January and travels 226 nautical miles to Coffs Harbour. It is affectionately known as the “Warm Water Classic” and offers competitors a strategic challenge and it makes its way up the coast between the surfline and the current, past scenic coastlines before arriving in Coffs Harbour.
The five race regatta is centred on the popular holiday destination of Coffs Harbour with four races in Coffs Harbour including sprint races followed by longer offshore races around the majestic South Solitary Islands.
As well as the main race the regatta has four additional races in Coffs Harbour including sprint races followed by longer offshore races around the stunning South Solitary Islands.
The Pittwater to Coffs is held annually on the 2nd – 5th January.
